The film...which is inspired from a book & already adapted into a SLEEPER HIT WEB SERIES "SCAM 1992" invites inevitable comparisons...
KOOKIE GULATI'S directorial shall be dissected & each frame will be scanned as the web series is still fresh in people's mind...
But...on a cleaner slate ..it makes for a decent watch..!!

His Rags to Riches story in double quick time comes in the eye of a journalist & she starts unearthing the reasons behind it...
And as they say...Super Success invites clutter of enemies...& then EGOS..SUPEREGOS...POLITICS takes over leading to his downfall & tragic death..
SCREENPLAY goes through crest & troughs with many conveniences & liberties taken at bay..
Clocked at 153 mins..it seems too long with just 1 song...editing could have been much crisper
Dialogues & Background music are the biggest letdowns...!!!!
ABHISHEK BACHCHAN..is earnest & delivers...
ILEANA D'CRUZ ....has a linear graph with much less screen time
SOHUM SHAH..shines really well among the ensemble
NIKITA DUTTA...has great screen presence..but nothing much to do...
Veterans like SUPRIYA PATHAK...SAURABH SHUKLA...are completely wasted...
Makes for a one time watch...
On Comparison...nowhere near 10 episodic BLOCKBUSTER...!!
